All rights of short-listing the candidates would lie with the Five-member committee. Short-listed list of candidates would be sent to Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of the party.

STEP THREE
PAC would finally release the list of final candidates.
Sanjay Singh further revealed that in the first week of May, first list of candidates would be announced and in the very next month of June list of all 117 candidates of the party is expected to be released.
No tainted person who is facing corruption charge or having criminal record, would not be given ticket by the party, AAP leader assured appealing to the aspirant don’t get trapped into the dragnet of any unscrupulous person, who would assure AAP ticket to them in lieu of money, as the candidates would be selected in a transparent manner and winability would be the only criteria of selection. If anybody asks for money for managing AAP’s election ticket, it should be brought to the notice of any of the senior leaders, so that they (unscrupulous) persons could be taken to task. Even if a ‘tainted’ person is allotted AAP’s ticket inadvertently, the same (ticket) could be withdrawn by the party at eleventh hour, if substantiated evidences against him would be found true, Sanjay Singh said.
Vowing that graph of the popularity of AAP is already at peak and it is expected that the party would register clean sweep victory in Punjab, which would break the record of Delhi’s victory too, Sanjay claimed.
Replying to a query on the role of AAP in the demolition at Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk, Sanjay Singh said that SAD-BJP were deliberately misleading the people as Delhi Government did not have any role in the demolition, which was carried by BJP controlled Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD).
On SYL issue, Sanjay Singh clarified that AAP is with the people of Punjab and reiterated that the state does not have even a single drop of water to be shared with any other state. Even the Congress’ appointed Advocate also miss-represented the Delhi Government in Supreme Court on SYL issue and accordingly he was sacked, he clarified.
Regarding the proposed protest dharnas by SAD in all states against AAP, Sanjay Singh said if they (SAD) was really serious on SYL issue, it should severe its political tie with BJP and hold such dharnas against union government. Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann appealed people to attend AAP’s proposed political conference at Talwandi Sabo on the occasion of Baisakhi and break the record of high participation of people at Maghi rally of the party.
