New Delhi, August 16: After two days of continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan that lead to the death of six people and injured 15 others, Indian Ministry of External Affairs, summoned Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit and held a meeting with the Ministry secretary Anil Wadhwa. While speaking to journalists outside South Block, Basit said that the ceasefire violations are a matter of concern for both the sides and that they want to resolve the issue. He said that he would like to work to determine who indulges in the unprovoked firing, clearly refusing to take any direct responsibility for the firing.
