Advocate Rajat Gautam elected as new chairman of Bar council

CHANDIGARH : Advocate Rajat Gautam elected as chairman of the state bar council of Punjab and Haryana. Gautam, son of former MLA from Narnaund constituency Ram Kumar Gautam, has been elected following the resignation of former chairman Rakesh Gupta.Gautam said his endeavor would be to uphold the dignity of the legal profession and timely completion of the welfare activities and works related to the legal fraternity.Earlier, Rakesh Gupta was the chairman, who served about 15 months. He resigned from his post in the general house meeting paving way for the election of new chairman.
