Daring escape by under-trial prisoner lodged in Faridkot jail

Nawanshahar : Four armed persons today succeeded in forcibly taking away Atul Khatri, a prisoner who was brought from Faridkotjail for producing Nawanshahar court where he was facing trial.In the shoot out, police constable Chamkaur Singh accompanying him was injured in the foot and has been admitted to hospital.the armed men had come in a white Ford car.Khatri is facing trial relating to the marital dispute.Police has issued alert.
