At 54, retired Bruno mulls boxing return

Johannesburg : Retired heavyweight champion Frank Bruno is mulling to make a return to competitive boxing at the age of 54.Bruno, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2003, admitted that he has returned to training and he wanted to return to the boxing ring in order to get free from his mental illness completely.The former heavyweight boxing champion, who won the WBC belt in 1995, admitted that his illness had left him feel suicidal on many occasions and, therefore, he wanted to return to the ring in order to avoid psychiatric hospital, Sport24 reported.Bruno has not fought any bout since his defeat at the hands of Mike Tyson in 1996.
