At least 100 killed in multiple blasts in Syria

Damascus, May 23 : A series of bomb blasts in two Syrian coastal cities of Jableh and Tartous left at least 100 people dead and dozens wounded on Monday, in a government-controlled area that hosts Russian forces. Four bombs, including at least one suicide attack, exploded in Jableh, a government stronghold along the Mediterranean coast.Syria’s state news agency reported that three rockets were launched into Jableh, hitting a bus station near the entrance to the town.At least 53 people were killed in that attack, the Syrian Observatory said.
Another three bombs, at least one of which was a suicide attack, hit the city of Tartus, about 60 kilometers south of Jableh.Again, the terrorists targeted a crowded bus station, SANA reported.
The TV report said at least one suicide bomber blew himself up near the station, and was followed minutes later by a car bomber.Another 48 people died in that attack, according to Rahman.
