Badal Government Does Not Want to Arrest Sacrliege Culprits : Jathedar Daduwal

FEROZEPUR : Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Jathedar Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal has alleged that Badal government’s non-cooperation to Justice Katju commission which has carried out probe into the killings of Behbal Kalan and sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib, proved that the government did not want to arrest those who were behind the sacrilege.
Bhai Daduwal was produced before the court of sub-divisional judicial magistrate Pushpinder Singh on Friday in a case registered against him for blocking Harike bridge. During the production, he said that he did not have any connection with politics and he attended the Sarbat Khalsa event being a Sikh. “It is a violation of my religious freedom to frame me in a false case”, he added. Bhai Baljit Singh Daduwal was arrested shortly after being announced the Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib at Sarbat Khalsa 2015. He was appointed as temporary Jathedar until Sarbat Khalsa 2016.
