ANANDPUR SAHIB: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee(PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa today asked the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to return award of Panth Rattan bestowed upon him by SGPC and submit his resignation immediately to sav Punjab and Sikh community from further humiliation.He also demanded resignation of SGPC President Avtar Singh Makkar.Bajwa who was here to offer prayers at Keshgarh Sahib for the peace and harmony in Punjab said that Badal had proved a total failure in protecting the interests of Punjab, minority community, farmers and other sections of society. He stated that if he has any regret of his actions and wants to see Punjab live happily,he should immediately step down.Bajwa demanded a probe into the incidents of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib from the sitting judge of the Supreme Court. He said that such henious crime cant be committed without the involvement of ruling party. He said that Badal was capable of doing such mischief.
Bajwa also demanded CBI probe into pesticide scam due which farmers of cotton belt had incurred loss of Rs.5000 crores.He said that Badal had weakened the farmers economically for his personla gains.
