Barcelona unveil new home kit for 2017/18 as club reveal new shirt sponsor

London : Barcelona on Monday unveiled their new home kit for the 2017/18 season.
The Catalan club will have new sponsor Rakuten, the Japanese e-commerce company, on their chests as they wear the predominately blue jersey.
Barcelona are set to name their new manager in the coming days as they look to improve on a disappointing La Liga and Champions League campaign.
Real Madrid secured the domestic title on the final day of the season, while Barca lost out in the quarter-finals of the Champions League to Juventus. They did, however, secure the Copa del Rey at the weekend to avoid a trophyless season.Once again, Barcelona have utilised the classic Blaugrana stripes on their kit – but have switched to a faded design.Last season’s shirt had evenly-spaced stripes, while this year’s attempt appears similar to the 2012/13 look.This year’s kit also sees a return to slightly darker shades of blue and red.
