BCCI announces squads for India A’s tour of South Africa

Dubai : The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the India A team for the upcoming South Africa tour on Thursday. While Manish Pandey will lead the ODI team, Karun Nair will be the skipper of the first-class matches. India A will play tri-series featuring South Africa and Australia, which will be followed by two four-day matches against the hosts.
Apart from Pandey, who has played 12 ODIs and 8 T20Is for the senior team, other players from the squads travelling to South Africa who have played for the senior team are- Karun Nair (6 Tests, 2 ODIs), Jayant Yadav (4 Tests, 1 ODI), Abhinav Mukund (6 Tests), Axar Patel (30 ODIs, 7 T20Is), Yuzvendra Chahal (3 ODIs, 6 T20Is), Mandeep Singh (3 T20Is), Sanju Samson (1 T20I) and Rishabh Pant (1 T20I).
