Bhagwant Mann welcomes appointment of Gurpreet Ghuggi as AAP Punjab convener

ROPAR : Bhagwant Maan MP of Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) today welcomed the appointment of Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi as Punjab convener of AAP and said that Ghuggi is suitable candiate for the post.
He was here to address ‘Badal Bhajao-Punjab Bachao’ rally at village Mianpur near here. The SAD workers with black flags were waiting for Bhagwant Mann near Mudhon village but he changed his route to reach Mianpur. He told waiting media persons that he respect the media and only one journalist was asking him irritaing questions to which he reacted at Bassi Pathana. Mann said that goons of Shiromani Akali Dal were trying to vitiate atmosphere by disturbing the AAP rallies, He said that SAD men attacked him and AAP workers at Malout but police has registered no case against the miscreants. He said that he was telling people about the drug menace and ‘Chitta’ when he was attacked. He said that AAP was giving its point of view to the people of Punjab and SAD is free to tell their point of view. He said that violence has no place in democracy. He said that Badl family was misguiding youth to push them into confrontation. He appealed youth to defgeat the designs of SAD to create disturbance.
