Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda Bailed From High Court

CHANDIGARH —The Punjab & Haryana High Court today sanctioned permanent bail for Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda in the sedition case, alleged by the Punjab government. It is notable that Bhai Bathinda was earlier given medical leave by the High Court keeping in view his physical illness. He was to re-appear in Jail on February 17. As per the information released by Advocate Gagan Pardeep Singh Bal (Counsel for Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda), the Justice M.S Bedi granted bail to Bhai Gurdeep Singh Bathinda after debating the case. He said that the Court has reserved granting bail to Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal, and the date for the hearing on the case of Bhai Paramjit Singh Jajeaani has been deferred to February 25, 2016.
