BJP leader shot dead in UP

Muzaffarnagar (UP), April 5 : A BJP leader was shot dead by three unidentified bike-borne assailants in Khatoli town of the district this morning, the police said.
Raja Balmiki, former Khatoli city BJP general secretary, was shot dead by the assailants at his shop today, SHO KP Singh said.
Meanwhile, protesting against the murder, irate people blocked the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway in Khatoli.
The security has been tightened in the area, the SHO said.
