Brother of 13/11 ‘mastermind’ pleads innocence, says was not involved in attack

Sydney : Mohamed Abdeslam, brother of the Salah Abdeslam who is ‘wanted’ as the primary suspect and alleged mastermind behind the Paris carnage has denied any involvement in the attacks and said that he and his two brothers were ‘normal’.According to the Sydney Herald, he pleaded his innocence to the media after he was released from police custody in Belgium and said that he was incorrectly accused of committing an act of terrorism’. “I have not in the slightest way been connected to the operation in Paris. I have worked for the local council for 10 years and I’ve never had a problem with anyone. My parents are completely shocked by the tragedy. My two brothers are normal and I have never noticed anything strange,” Abdeslam said after his release. Massive raids are being conducted to capture suspect fugitive Salah Abdeslam, who is wanted by the police following the deaths of 129 people in the Paris terror attacks on Friday.His brother Ibrahim Abdeslam blew himself up outside the cafe Comptoir Voltaire, which was part of the series of attacks in the French capital.Mohamed Abdeslam, who is the third brother, was freed without charge after being questioned by officers.
