BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav pressurised to take back complaint, reveals audio

New Delhi, Jan 12 : Two days after Tej Bahadur Yadav’s video went viral on social media, an audio was released in which Tej Bahadur and his wife, Sharmila was heard speaking. In the audio clip, the BSF constable was heard telling his wife that there is a lot of corruption going on and the government officials are not taking any serious action against his allegations. He further added saying that nothing is being investigated so far. Tej Bahadur was heard requesting his wife to take his message to the media so the country knows the plight of Indian soldiers at the border who work for 11 straight hours every day, regardless the weather or temperature.
He was heard saying that he is being forced and pressurized to take his the complaint back, and apologise for the same. “He (Tej Bahadur) told me that he is being pressurised to take the complaint back, and apologise”, Sharmila was quoted by ANI.Tej Bahadur Yadav on Tuesday alleged that troops were served bad quality food at the border and some times had to go on an empty stomach.  While speaking to India Today, Tej Bahadur Yadav said that his BSF mates are glad that he took this step and totally back him. He further said, ”My only question is, that if the government is allotting so much funds for the jawans and it’s not reaching us, where else is it going?” “I haven’t done anything wrong. Have only shown what the reality is and all I hope is that an enquiry is conducted to throw light on the sad state of affairs”, he said.
