Chandigarh journalists call on union minister of state Rijiju

New Delhi : A delegation of Chandigarh Press Club today called on Union Minister of State for Home Kiran Rijiju to demand security for journalists in view of increasing attacks on them.Rijiju assured that the registratyion of FIR would not be mandatory in case of attack on any journalist in the country.The delegation, among others, included Jaswant Rana, Nalin Acharaya and Birendra Rawat, president, senior vice-president and the general secretary of the club respectively.
