Chandumajra appointed as SAD’s Mohali halqa in-charge

CHANDIGARH : Shiromani Akali Dal has appointed senior leader and Anandpur Sahib MP Prem Singh Chandumajra as halqa in-charge of Mohali assembly constituency, for the time being. Ramoowalia, who has recently resigned from the SAD, had joined Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh to be inducted as cabinet minister in Akhilesh Yadav-led State Government. During a meeting of party workers and leaders, SAD district president Ujjagar Singh Wadali while urging everyone to show unity announced that Chandumajra has been entrusted with the responsibility of halqa in-charge. Sukhbir Badal has decided to give the responsibility of Mohali halqa in charge to Chandumajra. He will look after the party affairs in the district.
