Cong leader escapes acid attack in Amritsar

Amritsar, January 23 : Congress leader and advocate Vaneet Mahajan was on Monday allegedly attacked by two unidentified persons outside a temple on Majitha Road here.
Mahajan narrowly escaped as the acid bottle thrown at him deflected from the car bonnet and fell on the road. The police have started investigations. This is the fourth attack on Mahajan.He allegedly blamed Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi for the attack.
