Cruel Tactics: 3rd class students beaten by teacher for misspelling in Andhra Pradesh

West Godavari, September 9: Just a few days after a student in Hyderabad was hospitalised after being brutalised by his teacher, another incident has come to light, wherein several students of 3rd standard of a school in West Godavari, were allegedly beaten up by their teacher for misspelling in class. The students who bore the brunt of their teacher’s wrath for making such a minor mistake were all badly beaten up, with their backs bearing the marks of the beating. This is the second incident of physical assault by a teacher on students in less than a week. Earlier on September 5-Teacher’s Day- there were reports of a student of a private school in Hyderabad, being thrashed by his science teacher, for not completing his homework. The boy had been beaten so badly, that he was unable to even walk. Earlier the same man had slapped the boy, knocking one of his teeth out.
