Dalit leader shot at in Khadoor Sahib

Tarn Taran : Karamjit Singh (30), a Dalit leader of Verowal Bawaian village near here, was shot at by some SUV-borne unidentified persons at Khadoor Sahib township today.
He was admitted to the Khadoor Sahib Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital from where he was brought to the local Civil Hospital and then referred to Guru Nanak Hospital, Amritsar, due to his serious condition.
Karamjit alleged that a local SAD leader was behind the attack as the SAD leader had used casteist remarks against him and he had launched a move for his arrest.
