Del Bosque delighted to see Spain overcome goal-scoring struggles

Paris : Spain football manager Vicente del Bosque has expressed his delight over his side’s superior display at the Euro 2016 which saw them overcome their goal-scoring struggles to secure a place in the knockout stages of the prestigious tournament.Two-time defending champions Spain regained their goal-scoring form as they defeated Turkey 3-0 in their second Group D match in Nice, courtesy an Alvaro Morata’s brace and a brilliant strike by Nolito.Spain’s attacking frontline have been struggling in recent months and needed a late Gerard Pique header to see off Czech Republic 1-0 in their opening game. “We have completed our first objective, qualifying for the next round and did so with a good performance. We were in charge for the entire game and scored goals, which we have been struggling to do,” coach del Bosque was quoted as saying by goal.com.”We now have to focus on the game against Croatia and see if we can make it to the final. We are not thinking about our opponent in the round of 16. We will try to get the three points against Croatia and will pick a team we think can do the job,” he said.
