Djokovic, Nadal likely to clash in French Open semis

Johannesburg, May.20 : World number one Novak Djokovic and nine-time champion Rafael Nadal have been seeded to face each other in the semifinals of the French Open following Friday’s draw.While Djokovic will be aiming to clinch the elusive French Open title in order to complete a career Grand Slam, Spanish maestro Nadal will hope to continue his red-hot form at his favourite Roland Garros.Last year, Djokovic saw his dreams of completing a career Grand Slam shatter when he lost a pulsating finale against Wawrinka, who lifted his second major title.Initially, Nadal was set to be seeded at five until 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer pulled out of the tournament through injury on Thursday, Sport24 reported. Meanwhile, defending champion Stan Wawrinka is scheduled to take on second seed Andy Murray in the other semifinal.
