Dusk to Dawn movement on Indo Pak border banned

GURDASPUR: The Dusk to Dawn movement along with the International border of Indo Pak has been banned in this border district of Gurdaspur.
The district magistrate Pardeep Sabharwal told in a press note that the any type of the movement of civilian with in the 500 meters of fencing fire and 1000 meters of the Indo Pak border would be banned from 8 PM to 5 AM, however the ban would not apply on the Army, BSF, CRPF, HomeGaurd and Centre excise and taxation staff which were deployed on the border for special duty. The ban would remain in force till Oct ,3, 2016.
