ED issues another notice to Amarinder Singh’s son Raninder Singh

Chandigarh/New Delhi : The Enforcement Directorate has issued another notice to former Punjab Chief Minister’s Amarinder Singh’s son for violations of Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
The ED had previously summoned Raninder Singh for suspected violations of forex rules and holding of untaxed foreign assets in June.Raninder Singh has been suspected of FEMA violations in connection with a UK-based trust, Jacaranda.He has been accused of having “illegally” transferring funds to accounts in Switzerland between 2002 and 2007 — while his father was chief minister —and having created a trust and subsidiaries in British Virgin Islands for evading taxes.
