Entire Captain Family ‘Deadwood’ : C. D. Kamboj

Chandigarh : Reacting strongly on the statement of Capt Amrinder Singh that AAP is the junkyard of dead wood of Congress Party, Aam Aadmi Party leader, Col. C D Singh Kamboj in a press statement today said that it is fact that Congress Party is a heap of dead wood. All the people who are not corrupt and whose conscious is still alive are leaving the Party for the betterment of Punjab. He asked if is it not a fact that Capt Amrinder Singh himself changed his party a number of times and lost multiple elections and even losing his Security deposit from Kharar Vidhan Sabha seat. Later only with the help of Indian Govt. he was declared unopposed fromSamana Assembly constituency.
Kamboj said that it is known to everyone that he was about to form a new Party with the name ‘PUNJAB PARTY’ and he blackmailed the Congress high command to become Punjab Congress President. He said that his real brother Mr Malwinder Singh left the Party and joined SAD in denial of ticket from Samana. Captain could not save his wife Parneet Kaur from losing at home turf in Lok Sabha elections to AAP nominee and his own son Raninder Singh has lost twice badly from Bathinda and Samana seats. Kamboj asked, “If losing election is a parameter of being deadwood then are his entire family members deadwood?”
Col. Singh further said that he got the 2nd highest votes from Jalandhar District while nine seats of Jalandhar district have been lost twice. He asked Amrinder to clarify if all the lost candidates ofCongress Party are dead wood? Kamboj said that Amrinder should come out of fool’s paradise and understand that monarchy has vanished from India and he is not the ‘Maharaja of Patiala’ anymore but living in a democratic country.
Kamboj said that he remained the Vice President of Congress Party, member AICC, Spokesperson, In-charge of delimitation and held various other appointments under the Presidentship of Amrinder. He asked Amrinder, “Do you appoint ‘Deadwood’ on such important portfolios in the party. He advised Capt Amrinder Singh to think before making such personal remarks against anyone because his own cupboard is full of garbage. Kamboj said that how can Congress Party expect from a person to get the victory in Punjab under whose leader ship party has lost twice. He said that under Amrinder’s leadership Congress Party is heading for a humiliating defeat for the third time in a row.
