Forces exhibited ‘highest standard of professionalism’ in Pathankot, says Punjab Police

Gurdaspur : Describing the operation to neutralize terrorists who had attacked the Pathankot Airbase as ‘highest standard of professionalism’ from the defence forces, the Punjab Police on Tuesday said that all the concerned agencies acted swiftly after receiving intelligence input of the attack.”Seeing is believing. What we saw was highest standard of professionalism from defence forces… We worked in coordination with all agencies, our officers reacted immediately when attack happened,” Punjab Police DGP Suresh Arora said at a press conference.He said that the investigation will focus on several aspects of the attack, including how a private car with blue beacon was allowed to pass through checkpoints.He also said that several measures would be taken to ascertain that such incidents do not happen again in future.”We have decided to post one AIG counter intelligence unit in Pathankot and install cctv network,” he said.
