Grand alliance halted BJP’s march to Kolkata, says Lalu

Patna : Stating that there will be long-term implications of the verdict of Bihar assembly elections, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday said that the BJP had its eyes set on Kolkata, but the grand alliance stopped their march in Bihar.”Efforts were made to communalise the society, but the people of Bihar thwarted the attempt,” said Yadav while addressing a joint press conference here along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee president Ashok Choudhary.Terming the BJP a “mask of the RSS”, he said, “Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister just for name and actually he is a Sangh propagandist.”
Taking potshots at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the RJD chief said, “It’s nice that the Prime Minister congratulated Nitishji; did he wish him from his heart?” “There is no problem in Bihar. We will create the actual problem for the throne of power in Delhi,” he asserted.
