Holla Mohalla festival concludes festive note

ANANDPUR SAHIB: The three day Sikh festival Holla Mohalla today concluded with festive note with over 20 lakh devotees taking part in the ‘Mohalla’ (procession) taken out from Takht Kesgharh Sahib to Gurdawara Manji Sahib.Akal Takht Jathedar Gianai Gurbachan Singh led the religious procession. Jathedar Mal Singh Jathedar of Takht Kesgarh Sahib accompanied him. Jathedar Balbir Singh head of Budha Dal of Nihangs led the Nihangs who displayed martial art of Gatka during the procession. The devotees also sprayed colours on each other.The Nihang Singh performed horse race and traditional Sikh games at the end of Mohalla. The Sikh devotees from across the globe participated in the festival. The political parties also held their conferences dueing the festival.
