Honeypreet to be produced in court today

Panchkula, October 4 : The Haryana Police would produce Honeypreet in a court on Wednesday and the police would seek her remand to probe her role in the conspiracy to incite violence in Panchkula on August 25.
Thirty-five persons were killed and over 200 injured in the violence.
Meanwhile, the police conducted medical examination of Honeypreet and other woman Sukhpreet Kaur at General Hospital in Panchkula at around 2 am on Wednesday. Honeypreet, the adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, and Sukhpreet were brought for medical examination in a private vehicle. They were both later taken to Chandimandir police station in the same vehicle. Honeypreet was questioned by the SIT officials and women police officials for several hours after her medical at the Chandimandir police station here.
Honeypreet also complained of migraine last night. She was given medical treatment before conducting her medical examination at the hospital.
She also complained of chest pain in the night and was taken to a hospital here where she was found to be fine by doctors.
Panchkula Police Commissioner AS Chawla said: “We have deputed senior women police officers to interrogate Honeypreet. She, however, has not divulged much.”
The Haryana Police arrested Honeypreet Insan near Zirakpur in Punjab on Tuesday.
Honeypreet was arrested in connection with FIR number 345 registered at the Sector 5 police station in Panchkula. Dera spokesperson Aditya Insan, who is also on the run, is also an accused in that case, along with four other top dera functionaries.
