India reduced to 74 for 5 as rain suspends play on day 2 of first Test

Kolkata, November 17 : Rain forced suspension of play on the second day of the opening Test between India and Sri Lanka at the Edens Gardens here on Friday.
After just 11.5 overs could be bowled on Thursday, India started the second day’s proceedings at 17-3 but rain once again came back to interrupt the proceedings when the hosts were 74-5 in 32.5 overs.
