Iran’s foreign minister justifies ballistic missile test

Wellington : Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has defended his nation’s right to use ballistic missiles following a test last week, but did not offer an explanation for the reportedly anti-Israeli messages written on them.Zarif, who is in New Zealand, said that Iran has always reserved the right to defend itself using conventional weapons, and that anybody who is crazy enough to attack us, we will attack back, reports Dawn. The missile test which was conducted last Wednesday was aimed at demonstrating that how Iran would push ahead its ballistic missile program, scaling back the nuclear program under the deal with United States which was reached last year.Meanwhile, Zarif said that the missiles were not designed to carry nuclear warheads, and Iran had provided guarantees that it would not develop nuclear weapons.
