Kejriwal calls for better coordination between Centre, Delhi Govt.

New Delhi, Aug. 25 : Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday called for better coordination between the Centre and Delhi Government, saying both should keep aside their ideological differences and work towards developing the city.”We told him that there could be ideological differences between us. Our and BJP’s political ideology could be different but the Central Government and Delhi Government should work together. People of Delhi will benefit and Delhi will develop only when the Centre and state work together,” Kejriwal told mediapersons after his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”There have been 25-30 instances in the last six months when the Centre has declared the order passed by the elected government as ‘null and void’…. ACB was doing a fine job in Delhi before June 8, on June 8 a corrupt officer was made chief of ACB,” he added.Kejriwal further said that his government would fulfil Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and ‘Digital India’ initiatives.”We told the Prime Minister that we will fulfil ‘Swachh Bharat’ or Digital India or Skill Development in Delhi but for that better communication with the Centre is needed,” said Kejriwal.”The Delhi Police is working against us, they are at war with us…Prime Minister Modi listened to everything and said he will look into it,” he added.Kejriwal, who met Prime Minister Modi at the PMO here, was accompanied by Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
