Kejriwal promised exemplary punishments to the accused of Sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib

CHEEMA JODHPUR (BARNALA) : National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal today said that culprits, who indulged the desecration of Guru Granth Sahib would be handed out an exemplary punishment, once AAP formed the Government in Punjab.
Addressing a massive gathering here on his 3rd day of 11 days tour of Punjab, Kejriwal said that in the recent past there were series of incidents the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib, Quran-e-Sharif and Srimad Bhagwat Geeta by some anti-social elements, who wanted to create wedge and hatred between the followers of different religions.
“It was indeed deeply painful to learn about such series of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib, which is sacred to not only Sikhs, but to the people of other religions including Hindus, Muslims and Christians too”, Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal said that it was very unfortunate that SAD-BJP Government, which claimed to be panthic, failed to nab the real culprits, who indulged in such sacrilege incidents including at Bargari village.Delhi Chief Minister said that healthcare system in Punjab has completely collapsed and needed a complete overhaul.
“In Delhi, we have set up more than 100 Mohalla clinics, where free treatment including medicines and tests are being provided to people. On the same pattern, AAP Government of Punjab will also set up small clinics in every village to provide free treatment including medicines and tests to people,” Kejriwal said.
On the possible use of money power by Badals and Congress, Kejriwal said “Akalis and Congress will offer you lot of money, that too in new currency. You accept the money, but when you will go for vote, press the button of Broom (Jharu)”.
