Kerala Governor to file complaint against Air India for ‘insulting’ him

Kolkata : Indian tennis ace Leander Paes has insisted that he still continues to achieve excellence despite having 17 overall Grand Slam titles under his belt.
“The passion for sport that was ingrained in me as a young kid still lives today. No matter how many grand slams I have won, no matter how many Olympics I have player, to continue to achieve excellence is something I am driven for,” said Paes, who is one of the most successful professional Indian tennis player, told reporters here.
The 42-year-old sporting marvel also shed light on his preparations for the Rio Olympics next year, insisting that he is in great shape ahead of the international sporting event.
“Preparing for an Olympics is something very specific. Having prepared for six other Olympics, I know that I have taken two-and-half years before the event to plan my schedule, tournaments fitness training to peak during the one week of the Olympics.”My training has been going really well. I have won three Grand Slams (Australian, US Open, Wimbledon) in mixed doubles this year. As far as upcoming events are concerned, I am going for the Indian Open as well as the Australian open with Martina Hingis,” Paes said.”Fitness-wise, training-wise I feel in great knick at the moment, things are going well, looking forward to Olympic Games 2016 to be held in Rio,” he added.
