Lufthansa plane in ‘near collision’ with drone over Warsaw

London, July 22 : A Lufthansa plane almost collided with a drone as it was approaching Warsaw’s international airport in Poland, officials said.
An airport spokesman said that the incident took place on Monday afternoon after the drone came within 300 feet of the plane from Munich, Germany, reported the BBC.
The crew of the Lufthansa Embraer ERJ-195 flight reported the near collision at 2,500 feet and redirected the plane’s path.The flight went on to make a safe landing about three minutes later.The spokesman said that the incident is being investigated.
