Mumbai: Kate, William to interact with budding entrepreneurs today

Mumbai, Apr. 11: Winding up their maiden trip to Mumbai, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton will attend the Young Entrepreneurs Event at The Social in Mumbai today.The Social is a cafe and a collaborative work space, where the royal couple will meet the emerging business talent.After the event, the couple will proceed to New Delhi, and visit landmarks like the India Gate, Gandhi Smriti and also attend the Queen’s Birthday party at the British High Commission.Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess began their visit in Mumbai by visiting Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and laying wreath in memory of 2008 terror attack victims. Later they let their hair down playing cricket with Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar at the Oval Ground.The royal couple also interacted with representatives and children of three NGOs based in Mumbai — Magic Bus, Door Step School, and India’s Childline.Prince William and Kate later took an open-top bus tour of Mumbai with children and visited the Banganga water tank and met representatives from ‘Smile’ and other organisations working in an economically deprived urban area.In the evening, the couple attended a gala dinner hosted by British Deputy High Comission which was attended by several celebrities and other known personalities.
