Barcelona : Spanish tennis maestro Rafael Nadal continued his perfect start to the clay-court season as he reached the semifinals of the Barcelona Open on Friday.
The 14-time Grand Slam champion overcame a spirited fightback from Fabio Fognini to claim a 6-2, 7-6 win over the Italian opponent in the quarterfinal clash.
Nadal had earlier equalized the record of 28th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crown after winning Monte Carlo Masters.
