Kolkata : Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has expressed that he is aiming to replicate Yuvraj Singh’s 2011 World Cup heroics in the World Twenty20, which starts from Tuesday.”My aim is to do what Yuvraj Singh did for India in 2011. I want to contribute with both bat and ball in the World T20,” Pandya told reporters here ahead of the first warm-up match against West Indies on Thursday.Yuvraj was declared as the Player of the tournament as India lifted their second World Cup title in 2011. He had accumulated a staggering 362 runs and claimed 15 wickets in the 50-overs pinnacle event. 22-year-old Pandya, who made his international debut against Australia in January, has been grabbing attention with his stunning all-round performances in the recent matches.India will head into the World T20 as the number one-ranked team and will play their opening match against New Zealand on March 15.
