People are fed up with 90 days’ Congress rule: SAD-BJP

Ferozepur : The Shiromani Akali Dal and Bhartiya Janta Party jointly hold dharna in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner, against the government on several issues including farm debt waiver and alleged impropriety in sand mining contract.
On a call, high command has decided to hold dharnas at all the district headquarters on June 12 in from the DC offices, and present a detailed memorandum in the name of Government Punjab through the concerned Deputy Commissioners, to register their protest against the Congress government with an objective to resolve the burning issues confronting the state and awake the deaf and dump government about the problems of the people. In the memorandum, SAD and BJP leadership has demanded CBI/ED investigation in the sand minding scandal by Rana Gurjit Singh Cabinet Minister, waiving off loan of farmers and labourers, disrespect of holy scriptures, atrocities on dalits and political highhandedness, law and order maintenance in the state and others.
In Ferozepur, the SAD and BJP joint dharna was led by Paramjit Kaur Gulshan, former MP from Bhatinda, Senior Vice President, SAD, former President, Istri Wing Akali Dal along with Joginder Singh Jindu, local former MLA Rural, Avtar Singh Zira, Hari Singh Zira, former MLA, Sukhpal Singh Nannu, former CPS, Gurdev Singh Nonny Mann, Kash Mann, Davinder Bajaj,l Punjab BJP President Ferozepur Unit and others. Addressing the gathering, the leaders Pramjit Kaur Gulshan said, the people of Punjab are fed up from merely 90 day’s old Congress government.
