CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal who was admitted to PGI Chandigarh due to chest congestion and fever was today discharged from hospital. He was admitted in PGI on January 22 when returning from Nawanshehar to Chandigarh.
The doctors said that Badal was feeling healthy now. He was treated by HOD, Pulmonary and Chest Diseases Dr. D. Behera. Doctors said that all clinical tests of Chief Minister were good. Director PGIMER Dr. Yogesh Kumar Chawla, Dr. D. Behera and Medical Superintendent Dr. A.K. Gupta came to see off Chief Minister.Badal was not able to attend the visit of France President to Chandigarh on January 24.However Prime Minister Narender Modi had visited Badal in the PGI.
