Questions raised on SAD (Badal) for using Gurdwara Bangla Sahib photo on cover of its manifesto in Delhi

NEW DELHI : Questions are being raised on the morality of leaders of Shiromani Akali Dal(Badal) who are objecting to printing of photo of Golden Temple on the manifesto of Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) but they themsleves had printed the photo of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib on party’s manifesto for Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee(DSGMC) in 2013. Kartar Singh Kochhar Secretary of Panthi Sewa Dal has raised the issue beofre th Sikh Sangat and asked the SAD(Badal) leadership would they also apologise from the Sikh Sangat for their act of blasphemy ? He said that AAP leaders have already apologised from Sikh community and ready to apologise at Akal Takhat too. Kochhar said that since SAD(Badal) has raised the issue of Golden Temple’s picture on AAP manifesto, the Sikhs shall now force the SAD leaders to admit their mistake and apologise from Sikh community and Akal Takht as well. He said that SAD(Badal) had no right to publish the photo of Gurdwara Bangla Sahib on its manifesto. SAD is accusing AAP for spreading communal tension in Punjab and demanding an apology from AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal. The SGPC had filed a FIR against AAP leaders even after they apologised from Sikh Sangat.
