Ranieri says Leicester’s priority will be to avoid relegation next season

London : Despite being crowned as the Premier League champions, Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has said that avoiding relegation will remain his top priority in the next season.Leicester finished the season ten points clear at the top after claiming a 3-1 win over Everton at the King Power Stadium earlier this month.Ranieri believes it would be quite difficult for his side to defend the title next season, especially because of the arrival of top managers like Antonio Conte at Chelsea, Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and with Jose Mourinho likely to be appointed as Manchester United’s manager, the Mirror reported. The Foxes boss insisted that his side would still remain underdogs, and called on his side to maintain a right attitude in the next season. Leicester, who escaped relegation in the 2014-2015 season and started the previous season as 5000-1 outsiders, overcame their underdogs tag by winning the title in what could be termed as one of the most remarkable seasons of the football history.
