Roger Binny removed as selector, Ravi Shastri out of IPL GC

Mumbai :  Former India cricketer Roger Binny has been removed as a member of the national selection committee while Team Director Ravi Shastri has also been removed from the Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council (GC). This comes after Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) move to address the conflict of interest issues in its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Mumbai. Binny, whose son Stuart Binny is part of the current Indian setup, will now be replaced by another former cricket MSK Prasad as the South Zone selector in the committee. It is learnt that Jyotiraditya Scindia, who is a member of parliament, has been included in the IPL Governing Council in place of Shastri.
