Gurugram : The Ryan International School, where a seven-year-old Pradyuman was found dead on September 8 in the washroom, will reopen on Monday after a brief stint of closure. The school will welcome students at 8:00 AM. However, Varun Thakur, the father of the deceased child feels it is unsafe to open the gates without implementing strict security measures.Speaking to news agency ANI on Sunday, Thakur said without addressing security lapses it is a threat to other children as well. Thakur does not want the school to reopen as CBI inquiry hasn’t started yet. Also, he fears that evidence might be tampered with the reopening of Ryan’s Gurugram branch. Just recently, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar transferred the case to CBI on the demand of Pradyuman’s parents. The Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) indicted Ryan School for violating the rules laid down in security measures. The Board sent a show cause notice to the institution on Saturday asking why the affiliation of Ryan should not be revoked and granted a time of 15 days for Ryan to reply. The panel of the Board on Friday held the school responsible for the death of Pradyuman saying it would not have taken place had the school been more ‘cautious’.
