SAD BJP government in Punjab should waive off the water bills of every village in Punjab: Channi

CHANDIGARH : SAD BJP combine should immediately waive off the pending bills of every viallge of Punjab which is due towards the electricity and water. Stating this S Charanjit Singh Channi Leader of opposition said that there are more than 12000 villages in Punjab and if the SAD BJP government can give free electricity to the tube wells of farmers why not it should be extended to the water connection of the village. This shows the anti people ideology of this government. The congress party will not charge single penny from the water connection of the village and even the electricity bill of the water motor will also be waived off. This will immediately effect the people living in the villages. The congress party is firm on its stand of taking up common peoples issues to logical end.
S Channi today himself reconnected the power connection which was disconnected by the PSPCL to the village Sehon Majra in the presence of the whole village and assured the villagers that next time if the PSPCL again disconnects it he will lead agitation for the cause in front of the DC Ropar office. The power to the water supply of the viallge Sehon Majra has been dis connected for the last fifteen days by the PSPCL thus forcing the villagers to go to far away places for their daily water requirements.
