SC stays summons issued to Kejriwal for making inflammatory speech

New Delhi, Sept. 22 : The Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the summons issued to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by an Amethi court for allegedly making an inflammatory speech during the 2014 general elections.According to reports, Kejriwal had earlier sought quashing of a bailable warrant issued against him by the Amethi court.The judicial magistrate had on July 20 this year issued a bailable warrant against the Delhi Chief Minister.The case in this regard was lodged at Amethi’s Musafirkhana Police Station in May last year in connection with his speech at Aurangabad village.
