Senior Supreme Court lawyer quits practice citing ‘humiliation’

New Delhi, December 11 : Senior advocate Rajeev Dhavan has quit legal practice, citing “humiliation” at the hands of the top court in the Delhi government versus L-G case.
Dhavan, who was not seen in the Supreme Court on Monday, has requested Chief Justice Dipak Misra to take back his designation as senior advocate.
He, however, said he wouldn’t mind keeping his gown as a memento.
