CHANDIGARH: Two MLAs of Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD), former Indian Hockey captain Pargat Singh and Inderbir Singh Bolaria have raised questions over the intellectual level and administrative skills of SAD President and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal.Sukhbir Badal has suspended two MLAs on the suspicion that they might join Aam Aadmi Party(AAP). Pargat Singh repersents Jalandhar Cantt and Bolaria repersents Amritsar(South) constituencies. They were at loggerheads with the party leadersship for not adhering to their demand of shifting solid management plant from their area. Pargat Singh said that right thninking persons who speak truth have no place in Shiromani Akali Dal. “Sukhbir Badal considers himself ‘superhuman’ and his behaviour with party leaders is that of dictator. Questioning intellectual level of Sukhbir Badal, he said that SAD has became a ‘mentally bankrupt’ party. He said that he was suspended on false intelligence input. He calls Sukhbir Badal arrogant who takes decisions as per his whims and fancies. He also questions wisdom of Parkash Singh Badal on many issues. Pargat Singh said that he was thinking of quiting the politics when he received the news of his suspension. He said that now he has decided to make sure SAD is voted out of power. He said he would not resign as MLA. Pargat Singh in the meanwhile praised Navjot Sidhu who has resigend from BJP. He also hailed AAP and said that AAP is anyway better than SAD,BJP and Congress. “Even inexperience people can serve the state better, if they have the will”, he added.Bolaria on the other hand said that he had left SAD long back and his suspension was expected. He said that SAD has lost trust of people of state and they are not in position to reach double digit figure in the 2017 assembly elections. He held wrong policies of Sukhbir Badal and Bikran Singh Majithia for this state of affairs in the party. He said that he was removed from post of Majha Zone incharge and then post of Chief Parliamentary Secretary’s post for raising voice against certain leaders involved in drugs. He said that he would not resign from his post of MLA and contest from the same constituency. But he was not clear to join Congress or AAP. He said that he was in touch with both parties. He also hailed Navjot Sidhu.
