US monitoring reports of Russian military operations in Syria

New York, Sept. 4 : The US State Department and the White House have said that they are monitoring reports of Russia conducting military operations in Syrian civil war on behalf of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.According to Fox News, the US also warned that such actions could further destabilize Syria’s perilous situation.Reports said that Russian forces were fighting alongside Assad’s army.White House spokesman Josh Earnest said there were reports that Russia may have deployed army personnel and aircraft to Syria, adding that they were monitoring the reports very closely.
