Virat Kohli eyeing comeback vs MI

New Delhi : Virat Kohli dropped hints that he may just make a return from injury in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL encounter against Mumbai Indians on April 14.
Kohli posted a video on his Instagram account of his gym session, in which he is seen doing a clean and jerk weightlifting drill, with this comment from Kohli: “Can’t wait to get back on to the field. Almost there now? 14th April?” The question mark in his comment means that he is not 100 percent certain about his return. Kohli injured his shoulder while fielding during the third Test against Australia at Ranchi.
Not surprised by Rashid Khan’s performance: Moody
Mumbai: Praising IPL debutant Rashid Khan’s performance as a leg-spinner in the two games he has played so far, Sunrisers Hyderabad chief coach Tom Moody said he was not surprised at the Afghanistan bowler’s early success in the IPL. “I am not surprised, and that’s why we were keen to get him in the auction. I have seen him bowl a lot in the last 12 months. I was very impressed with what he’s capable of doing. He and Mohammed Nabi are a couple of reasons why Afghanistan have grown as a cricketing team,” said Moody ahead of his side’s face-off against Mumbai Indians tomorrow. Moody pointed out that the two-way turn generated by Khan while disguising his action has been one of the reasons for him troubling the batsmen. “If you are a spinner like Khan and can spin both ways with the ability to disguise which way it’s going to turn, it makes it doubly difficult for any batsman,” he said.
Have to be mentally strong to bowl death overs: Nehra
Mumbai: Ashish Nehra believes that any bowler needs to be mentally strong to bowl in the death overs. “My simple thinking about bowling in the death is that mentally you have to be very strong. There are so many times I have seen that the first ball you bowl goes for a six, the second ball also goes for a six and you feel maybe this over is going for 25-26 runs,” Nehra, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad, told reporters here. “But if you are mentally strong and even if the first two balls go for sixes you can still bowl a 15-run over. Those 5-10 runs make a big difference,” he explained.
